SageAware SMS Alerts — Compliance

Program description

SageAware LLC operates the SageAware SMS Alerts program, a transactional messaging service that delivers safety and security notifications to individuals who have voluntarily opted in through the public preference center. The program is a Twilio SECURITY_ALERT toll-free use case. It does not carry marketing, promotional, fundraising, or advertising traffic.

Message categories

Recipients independently opt in to any of the following three categories. Each checkbox is a separate consent — none are bundled and none are preselected.

• Emergency and Life-Safety Alerts

  I agree to receive urgent SMS messages from SageAware regarding active threats, evacuations, shelter-in-place instructions, severe weather, fires, hazardous conditions, missing-person emergencies, and other immediate life-safety events.

• Operational Safety Updates

  I agree to receive SMS messages from SageAware regarding safety-related closures, delayed openings, schedule changes, field-trip safety updates, reunification instructions, and other operational notices from my organization.

• Account Security Messages

  I agree to receive SMS messages from SageAware regarding verification codes, login alerts, password resets, and other security-related activity for my SageAware account.

Opt-in flow

1. A visitor navigates to the public SMS opt-in page from the homepage "Manage SMS Preferences" call to action or a direct link. No account is required.
2. The visitor enters their first name, last name, mobile number, email address, and (optionally) an organization.
3. The visitor independently checks any combination of the three category checkboxes. All boxes are unchecked by default.
4. The full consent disclosure and no-sharing statement are shown immediately above the Submit button.
5. Submitting the form records an immutable consent event (timestamp, IP address, user agent, exact consent wording and version, Privacy Policy version, Terms version, and the categories selected) and displays a confirmation page.

Consent disclosure

By selecting one or more categories and submitting this form, you provide express consent to receive recurring SMS messages from SageAware LLC at the mobile number entered, limited to the categories you selected. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of SMS messages and HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchasing or using any product or service.

SMS opt-in data and consent are not sold, rented, transferred, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Information may be disclosed only to service providers acting on SageAware LLC's behalf when necessary to operate and deliver the messaging service.

Message frequency and rates

• Message frequency varies based on the categories selected and organization activity.
• Message and data rates may apply. Standard carrier rates apply to all SMS received.
• Consent is not a condition of purchasing or using any SageAware product or service.

STOP and HELP

Recipients may reply STOP to any SageAware message at any time to unsubscribe from all SMS. Recipients may reply HELP to receive support contact information. STOP is honored across every category — a new affirmative opt-in is required before messaging resumes.
