SageAware SMS Policy

Program description

SageAware sends text messages to users who have provided a mobile number, verified it, and expressly opted in. Messages are transactional and safety-related — SageAware does not use SMS for marketing.

What we send

• Emergency and life-safety alerts (Tier 3)
• Operational safety notifications (advisories, watches)
• Weather alerts affecting your monitored locations
• Account verification codes
• Important organization updates from campus administrators

Message frequency

Message frequency varies based on emergencies and organization activity. Some days you may receive no messages; during an active incident you may receive several.

Message and data rates

Message and data rates may apply. Standard carrier rates from your mobile provider apply to all SMS you receive from SageAware.

How to opt out

Reply STOP to any SageAware text message to opt out immediately. You can also withdraw SMS consent from your Notification Settings. Email delivery of alerts continues unless you disable it separately.

The exact wording users see and check before receiving SMS:

I agree to receive SMS text messages from SageAware LLC for the categories I have selected — emergency and life-safety alerts, operational safety updates, and account security messages. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase or use.

Optional consent

Consent to SageAware SMS is optional. It is not a condition of purchase, account creation, or use of the SageAware service. Email delivery of alerts remains available whether or not you opt in to text messages.

Privacy

Phone numbers are used solely to deliver the SageAware notifications you request. We never sell phone numbers or SMS consent records, and we never share them with third parties for their marketing purposes. See the Privacy Policy for full details.
